This fabulous, stone-built, detached country house is surrounded by moorland, on the outskirts of the Yorkshire village of Millhouse Green, on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
Beautifully appointed throughout to provide spacious accommodation of over 4000 square feet, this country house is perfect for large families or groups of friends to explore this rugged part of the Peak District, or simply as a place to enjoy a luxury break away.
Having won a silver Sykes Gem award in 2017 for 'Best for Large Groups', this cottage boasts sumptuous living spaces with granite floors and quality furnishings.
The elegant sitting room displays a chess table and a fabulous, hand carved marble fireplace housing a coal-effect gas fire.
There is also a formal dining room and a superb, well-equipped kitchen with granite worktops, breakfast bar and dining table.
There are seven wonderful bedrooms ensuring that everyone has the space for some peace and quiet, plus children and adults will love the large games room with leather sofa and bean bags on the second floor and the football pitch in the garden.
Completing the accommodation are four luxurious bathrooms, three of which are en-suites.
Outside, is a large rear patio, where you can sit and relax as the children play in safety in the enclosed garden.
The village of Millhouse Green offers a traditional way of life, with a small shop, a good pub and even crown green bowling! Spend some time exploring the beautiful Peak District National Park, visit the popular village of Holmfirth or take a short drive to the cities of Sheffield, Leeds and York, the town of Huddersfield and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Hartcliffe View is a detached house in the small Yorkshire village of Millhouse Green on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Property will be decorated from 1st December for Christmas. The house sleeps fifteen people and has seven bedrooms, three with en-suites and a family bathroom. Also included in the accommodation are a fitted kitchen, a dining room, a reception room, a sitting room with gas fire and a games room. Outside is plenty of off road parking, an enclosed rear patio and an enclosed garden with football pitch. Perfect for discovering South Yorkshire and the Peak District, Hartcliffe View is a superb family-sized holiday home. Note: Check-in from 4pm. Note: Hot tub hire - £255.00 per week and £195.00 per weekend; payable directly to the owner. Catering and personal chef, wine tasting, cocktail Classes (Mixology) can be provided at additional cost and upon prior arrangement with the owners, please pay the owner directly for these facilities.

Hartcliffe View provided us with everything and more to make an extremely enjoyably weekend retreat for our family of 14 to celebrate an 80th birthday . Throughout the weekend we had the first storm of the season but this accommodation was the perfect place for our get-together.Would definitely recommend!

The property is stunning. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything you require and the beds are very comfortable.
The owners were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We decided to hire the chefs recommended in the listing, they were great and very accommodating. The food was amazing.

A wonderful place to celebrate a milestone birthday. The family and dogs thoroughly enjoyed it, felt at home from the moment we arrived, and the outside space was lovely.
