We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gatehouse Croft. The building had a tranquil feeling to it. I haven't slept so well in ages.
It is very well equipped.
We enjoy staying in old and unusual places and this ticked all the boxes for us.
There is a bus stop almost outside so we were able to leave our car behind on several occasions.

A beautifully furnished historic house in an interesting area. Gatehouse Croft is extremely comfortable and there are extensive walks along the canal in either direction. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
