Mariners Rest is a semi-detached cottage situated in the historic fishing port of Whitby. The cottage is set over three floors and sleeps six adults and two children in four bedrooms, consisting of one double, one twin, one 2'6" single with pull-out stacker bed and one second floor king-size double with en-suite, as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside there is off road parking for 2 cars, a balcony and a small, enclosed patio with furniture. Note: Max. 6 adults and 2 children under 12.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Very easy to find and a great location! Fab views from the back of the property, right next to the Train line, which you don’t even notice, trains passing are very few and never at night. Property has everything and comfortable. I would recommend to stay here, we would return.

Hi, we had a lovely visit and had excellent communication with the host. Only points worth mentioning was there were no instructions for operation of the fire (it got a bit chilly in evening due to time of year) or the waste recycling, and the pressure was very low in the two bedroom's shower (though temperature was great).

The only consideration may be to have a washer-dryer rather than just washing machine. However with the under floor heating and towel radiators drying was not a big deal. Lovely to meet the ladies as we left. We shall likely book again (I have looked but not available for the date we had in mind).
