Ty’r Heulwen is a fantastic, upside down cottage a short walk from the centre of Aberdovey in Wales. The cottage can sleep eight people, offering two ground floor double rooms, one with patio doors leading into the shared garden, a ground floor adult bunk room and a ground floor shower room. On the first floor you will find a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area, a double sofa bed, an electric fire and patio doors leading out onto a veranda. Outside, the veranda overlooks the Aberdovey golf course and the shared gardens are large and lawned. There is also off road parking for two cars. Ty’r Heulwen is a wonderful base for friends and families wishing to explore the wonders of Wales, all year round!

The only negative point of the stay is that you can't check in until 4pm, and have to check out at 9.30am, so you lose 2 days of your holiday unfortunately.
Because of one of us being asthmatic, the air fresheners were very powerful so would suggest not having too many around the premises.

An ideal holiday home with the added bonus of being able to sit out on the balcony overlooking the golf course. House is in an ideal location, being just out of the hustle bustle and yet within easy access, either on foot or in car, to Aberdovey.

Ideally situated for railway station and buses, so good place to explore from without a car.
Instructions for the TV would have been helpful, as we couldn’t work out how to get terrestrial channels or freeview - perhaps you cannot.
The handbook says leave by 9.30am, but booking says 10am, and we couldn’t find bags in which we are instructed to deposit dirty linen and towels.
