A first-class apartment set in a most enviable location, on a high hillside close to the centre of Ambleside, in the very heart of the Lake District.
The property boasts fabulous triple-aspect views of some of the most beloved landmarks of the national park, including the Old Man of Coniston, Wetherlam, Loughrigg and the magnificent Fairfield Horseshoe ridge stretching away into the distance.
A private off road parking area is on the same level as the property, with the main entrance opening into a lovely sun room, an ideal place to sit and relax after a busy day out and about.
The kitchen adjoins the sun room and boasts stunning sights over the town’s rooftops towards the fells beyond.
A spacious sitting room, with patio doors leading onto the front balcony, provides a second place to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings and there is a modern shower room with a large walk-in shower, whilst six steps up from the living area lead to the two cosy bedrooms.
The centre of Ambleside is just a short stroll away, home to a host of eateries, traditional old pubs serving an array of award-winning local ale, and a unique cinema where for the price of your ticket, you can enjoy a film, live jazz music and a lovely meal to boot.
With a good selection of shops, outdoor centres, galleries and a lovely park, Ambleside is a wonderful resort whatever the time of year.
Take a cruise down the lake to the bustling town of Bowness-on-Windermere where you’ll find the Lakes Aquarium in Lakeside great for little ones, or alternatively you can disembark at Brockhole and walk back to Ambleside over Wansfell, through pretty countryside.
With Rydal, Grasmere and Hawkshead an easy drive away, this is a great central Lakeland location for that well-deserved break with friends and family.

Stunning views. A very clean and comfortable property. We had a splendid week here. Just steps away from all the town centre has to offer. Yet there was a deer waiting at the bottom of the terraced gardens to greet us when we arrived. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.

The view is amazing! I could have sat out on the balcony all day were it not for occasional rain and all the other attractions of the Lake District.
The only thing that could have been better was that the settee was not comfortable for everyone - it has odd shaped cushions which can't be removed. But that was all. I would come again for that view.

Great little place. The kitchen was good but could do with the extractor fan being replaced so the smells of cooking are removed and also the smoke alarm doesnt get set off. We did have one small issue which was dealt with promptly, so all good. Thanks
