This outstanding property is surrounded by the most impressive countryside views just outside the village of Eggleston, six miles from Barnard Castle.
With spacious rooms, high quality fixtures and fittings and an external leisure suite, this detached holiday home is ideal for a family or a group of friends looking to discover Teesdale or celebrate a special occasion.
The main open plan living area is modern yet homely with high ceilings and feature beams.
There is a well-equipped kitchen area, a breakfast bar and a more formal dining area where evening meals can be enjoyed.
A comfortable sitting area is set around a woodburning stove and there are high arched windows looking out over the farmland and patio doors which allow you to take meals outside to be enjoyed alfresco.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, both of which have an en-suite wet room, and with wider doors these are perfect for those with limited mobility.
The central staircase then takes you up to the first floor where you will find three more bedrooms, each enjoying the breathtaking views, and a second sitting room which is ideal for relaxing in the evening with one of your favourite films or a good book.
The second floor has two final bedrooms with sloped ceilings and Velux windows which look out to the hills beyond, a delightful scene to wake up to. Outside there is a lawned garden and a paved patio with a large stone sitting and dining area.
There is also the spectacular bonus of an external leisure suite which has a hot tub, sauna and a yoga and pilates studio.
Children and adults alike will be in their element as there is also a games room with a pool table, TV and games console.

Jacob's Lodge is an excellent detached property just outside the village of Eggleston near Barnard Castle. The property sleeps sixteen people in seven bedrooms, six with en-suites, which are a super king-size and a twin room, both of which have an additional day bed, two king-size doubles, a twin and two family rooms, one with a king-size double and a single and the other with three singles. There is also a cloakroom, a bathroom, an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner and there is a second sitting room. Outside is a lawned garden with a patio, ample off road parking and an external leisure suite with a hot tub, sauna, yoga and pilates studio and a games room. Jacob's Lodge was the perfect place for our group of eleven friends meeting up for a short break. The accommodation was very comfortable and the location was excellent, with lovely walks from the door ad a friendly nearby pub. The views were spectacular.

Stunning lodge made very festive by the owners with a huge Christmas tree in the front room. Very clean & had everything you need/want. Owner showed how to use the hot tub Games room was enjoyed by kids. Walked a short distance (5mins) to the local pub for Sunday lunch which was delicious. Will def look for another break with them

Had a wonderful weekend at Jacob’s Lodge celebrating my 50th. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Owners were really helpful and showed us how to use the hot tub / sauna. All the facilities are of a high standard. We would highly recommend this property for a large group get together.
