An immaculately-presented quality cottage which is located in the heart of the pretty village of Llangynog in the Tanat Valley.
The village sits at the foot of the Milltir Cerrig mountain pass, in the heart of the Berwyn Mountains in Powys.
Full of character, this lovely stone-built cottage has a spacious entrance hall which leads into one of two cosy sitting rooms with comfy sofas and a woodburning stove in each.
The large and well-equipped breakfast kitchen is perfect for families and friends to gather together around the country style dining table.
A utility room with a useful drying rack leads out into the pretty side garden which provides a sunny spot to sit back and relax.
The second, larger sitting room also has a warming woodburning stove set within the feature fireplace, perfect for snuggling up on cool evenings.
Up the steep stairs are two lovely double bedrooms and a twin room all with en-suite facilities.
The cottage is in a superb location for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and climbers, with an excellent mountain bike facility on the doorstep.
Nearby Rhaeadr Waterfall has the highest single drop waterfall in the UK and is well worth a visit.

The cottage is absolutely lovely and I cannot recommend it enough. The sitting room is so comfortable and the whole place feels spacious yet cosy and restful. The views from the windows are amazing, and the kitchen is large and a great place to sit in and listen to the rain or watch the birds in the garden. We would 100% visit again.

Beautiful property in a great location.
Property was booked for a wedding in the village. One important factor to us was that it was dog friendly. Our miniature poodle loved the house, the gardens and the walks nearby.
Plenty of space for everyone in shared spaces and ensuite bedrooms, and helpful hosts.

Really enjoyed our stay at Bodywen. Very comfortable and well equipped with a gorgeous enclosed garden for the dogs with superb views of the surrounding hills. A great location for Lake Vyrnwy, Pistyll Rhaeadr and other attractions and not too far from the coast.
