Away from the village, there is a broad range of attractions.
Beautiful Chatsworth House and its stunning parkland is a short drive away.
The Crich Tramway Museum is a fun way of exploring the history of transport, whilst the cable cars of the Heights of Abraham will offer you a whole new perspective over the area, known to the Victorians as Little Switzerland.
Matlock, Bakewell, Ashbourne and Buxton are all close by with Dale Road in Matlock being an antique hunters paradise.
You really are spoilt for choice whenever you chose to stay.
