The dining area leads off from the sitting room, while the modern kitchen is to the rear.

1 The Potteries is a detached modern bungalow situated in a quiet rural area two miles from Darlington and can sleep four people in one double bedroom and one twin room. There's also a family shower room and the rest of the bungalow contains a kitchen, a sitting room and a hall with dining area. To the outside of the property there is off road parking for three cars and a front patio garden with furniture and barbecue. 1 The Potteries is a perfect base for families or couples looking to explore this interesting and varied area. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Thankyou for letting us use your delightful cottage. We enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient for all we wanted to do.
It was a bonus to have two pub's near by that served good food and were dog friendly.
Hopefully we can use your cottage again when we are next in the area.

Lovely, quiet location - no traffic noise.
Property was probably the cleanest place we have stayed.
Was great to have separate fridge and freezer.
Dishwasher was a bonus.
Free WiFi worked fine for our needs.
Wouldn't hesitate to book again if staying in the area.

Ideal for a base, sadly no views nor back garden. Nice and clean.The double mattress was very firm - the singles too. The shower area could do with a shelf -somewhere to put your bottles. Kitchen nice even has a dishwasher but not enough cutlery/ plates to fill it for max efficiency. Plenty of hot water and electric radiators quick to warm up. No recycling facilities.
