Outside there is a bench in a pleasant little suntrap and is a tranquil spot to enjoy a barbecue.

We enjoyed our stay at Nathaniels Cottage however just a few things to mention - the shortage of towels - 1 hand towel and two bath towels between two adults is not enough. The lighting in the twin bedded room is inadequate to read in bed at night and the sink in the bathroom really needs looking at as this is very slow draininng and is probably blocked.

Fantastic stay, ideal place and easy access to shops etc in Kirkcudbright which is just what we wanted. Cottage cosy and comfortable. Everything you needed well equipped. We will certainly return.
