The cottage can sleep eight people in four bedrooms which are made up of two doubles and two twins as well as a separate bathroom and a ground floor shower room. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. To the outside is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture.Due to the property location, please be advised that the WIFI connection is slow. Set in a stunning location, Waingate Cottage is a great place to visit at any time in the year.

Lovely cottage. The garden was a highlight as the children could run around and explore without us worrying. Extremely comfortable. We only found the games in the drawers though when we were packing up. Very easy to get to Lake Windermere - would highly recommend the train!

The cottage was absolutely lovely. It was even nicer in person than it looks on the pictures, just 2 min walk from a lovely view of the estuary and having fresh eggs from the farm made it a really special weekend for my mum's 60th birthday.

An outstanding holiday home that exceeded expectations (and the photos). The house is beautiful, spacious, warm and very well equipped. The location is incredible, so beautiful and peaceful and a very short walk to the spectacular Bay with lots of local footpaths. Not too far to the national park either. We had an amazing time here and would thoroughly recommend it to anybody.
