This delightful detached ground floor lodge is situated on White Cross Bay holiday park, which is set on the shores of Lake Windermere, close to the small village of Troutbeck Bridge within the stunning Lake District National Park.
This lovely lodge is a great base for families with a number of facilities on-site, such as a swimming pool and gym, along with plenty of places to visit within reach.
Upon arrival at your log cabin at White Cross Bay you will see a large, raised decked area with furniture and gas barbecue and then it's into the light and airy open plan living area.
The living area is modern in style with a well-equipped kitchen, comfy sofas and a dining area, along with a TV and the property has WiFi.
There are three bedrooms all with fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers, with the master king-size double boasting an en-suite shower room, with the other two bedrooms being a twin and a bunk room.
Completing the accommodation is a family bathroom.
Via two sets of patio doors you will be able to reach the decked area, so why not open the doors and let the outside in. The decked area is the perfect place to enjoy a drink in the sunshine, perhaps after a day enjoying the facilities on-site.
If you can tear yourself aware from White Cross Bay, you will be able to take a ride on the lake cruises across Lake Windermere that can take you from Bowness to Ambleside and then onto Lakeside, where you will find the Aquarium of the Lakes.
There are a number of other family attractions in the area, such as the National Trust owned Hill Top, once the home of Beatrix Potter, and of course being in the middle of a National Park walks and cycle routes are in abundance.

Coniston Number 9 is a delightful single-storey detached lodge situated on White Cross Bay holiday park, close to Troutbeck Bridge and Windermere. This lodge sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of a king-size double with en-suite shower, a twin and a bunk room, together with a bathroom. The lodge also has an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with electric fire. Outside there's a raised decked area with furniture and barbecue, off road parking for two cars and a number of on-site leisure facilities. Coniston Number 9 is a charming family base. Please Note: This property accepts a minimum of 3 nights only. Note: Guests wishing to use the on-site leisure facilities will need to purchase a leisure pass from reception. Leisure passes give access to to the Pool/Sauna/Steam Room/Hot tub. Price is £13.50 per person for a pass covering under 7 days. It is £15 per person for a 7 day pass. No charge for age 2 and under. 45 minute slots need to be reserved at reception. Please check with White Cross Bay park for details and up to date prices.

Brilliant site, very clean comfortable and well kept lodge, in a nice position, had a great stay, one thing that let it down was the balcony hand not been cleaned, it was covered in broken branches, bird muck and bits of toilet paper, had to sweep it off myself

The property was first class accommodation and the overall stay was very enjoyable. The only thing preventing it from being perfect was that it rained on two nights and the noise from the water falling off the trees onto the cabins roof was loud and did not allow a good nights sleep. Not sure how this is fixable.

Super lodge, ideally placed for visiting other places. The only drawback was use of holiday park amenities. As we booked through sykes and not parkdean we would only be allowed to swimming pool if there were any spare places and only 2 slots a day.
