This lovely barn conversion is situated in an elevated position above the charming village of Bala.

Situated in a heart warming setting and close to the town, Hen Ysgubor Cottage is a lovely retreat in a peaceful part of Wales.

Lovely accommodation, with everything we needed. Very comfortable and cosy, especially when the weather was cold and wet outside.
A great host who greeted us and showed us around, great added touches including coffee machine, tea and biscuits and milk and a bottle of wine on arrival.
Overall a great relaxing stay.

We all loved this cottage and its surroundings.
It was so peaceful and in a lovely area too.
Would recommend (unless you have mobility issues) as stairs and hills etc.
Fully equipped kitchen and lovely walk in shower.

On arrival the owner came out and explained the everything to us. The property itself is lovely, very well presented, very clean and has everything you can possibly think of. The kitchen is very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the board games. In a great location, just a short walk down to Bala. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.
