Coombe Cottage is a wonderful 4 bedroomed characterful Lakeland cottage with superb gardens in the beautiful valley of Borrowdale.

This is a beautiful place to spend a holiday. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect and the views of the lake from the upstairs lounge are stunning. The owners went out of their way to assist us when we arrived late for our online food delivery due to problems on the M6.

A lovely cottage in an idyllic location. I’ve walked past it for many years never imagining that one day I would stay there. The whole family immediately felt at home here. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable. There are several areas where people can pursue their own interests. I particularly liked the sunny conservatory.

Wonderful situation with splendid views. Very spacious and well supplied with easy chairs and settees. Bed extremely comfortable and bathrooms clean and well appointed. We arrived as the clocks changed so the evenings were cooler but the owner explained how to change the heating and it worked a treat. All in all an excellent holiday home.
