Outside, a small enclosed, sunny patio provides a lovely spot to sit and relax.
Set on the owners' smallholding, this comfortable Staintondale cottage is ideally located, with excellent walking and cycling from the doorstep in the beautiful countryside around, including the Cleveland Way. The Falcon Innpub is less than 1 mile away from the property, serving food and drink.

Dairy Cottage is in the village of Staintondale, just on the edge of the North York Moors. This charming cottage makes a wonderful romantic retreat, with a king-size double bedroom, and a bathroom with spa bath. The living area is open plan, with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside, the small enclosed patio is a great spot for an evening tipple, and there is ample off road parking. With Whitby and Scarborough a short drive away, and excellent walking and cycling on the moors, Dairy Cottage is an ideal base whatever the season. This property cannot accept Saturday- Saturday bookings.

Dairy Cottage is a very nice place to stay, very quiet, with panoramic views of the countryside. The cottage itself provides a very good standard of accommodation, and is a superb place to stay for a holiday, we would have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends.

We had a lovely stay at Dairy Cottage. Beautifully converted and a very warm and comfortable place, that is well appointed and positioned to enjoy the Yorkshire coast and moors. We even experienced a very pretty snow scene at the end of the week! Highly recommend and will be back.

A lovely property. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable with great attention to details that enhance your stay (kitchen equipment, cottage information file, welcome pack, toiletries etc). Excellent shower! Would love to return when the weather is colder so we could use the wood burner. Perfectly located for costal walks, very easy booking process. So glad we picked Dairy Cottage.
