Riverside View is a semi detached house overlooking the river on the edge of the village of Cark in Cartmel just two miles from Cartmel itself. With two twin bedrooms, one double with an ensuite and a folding bed available, the cottage can sleep up to seven people. The accommodation also includes a family bathroom, a fitted kitchen, a ground floor snug and a sitting room with a dining table and an electric fire. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for one car, bike storage and an enclosed patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. With lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the river running alongside, Riverside View is a stunning cottage in a breathtaking part of the country. House was nice in a very quiet location. Unfortunately for us as we booked a midweek break in October there was nowhere local to eat at night other than a fish and chip shop in the next village. The local pub was very quiet.
We took 2 dogs so the lack of a garden was a problem.

Lovely comfortable and well equipped cottage. Great location for exploring the southern Lake District and surrounding area.
Also perfect to catch the train into Lancaster or along the coast .
Also we'll equipped for a rainy day indoors , reading, games and jigsaws etc...
A family holiday for all ages.

Fantastic holiday home, very comfortable, well equipped and wonderful views. This is a perfect location to get to the lakes and lovely surrounding villages. Two minute walk to the train station so perfect if you want to leave the car at home. Would definitely recommend!
