Railway Cottage is an 18th century stone-built, mid-terraced cottage on the edge of the seaside village of Fairbourne between the Cambrian Mountains and Barmouth Bay in the Snowdonia National Park. With two double bedrooms, one single room and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep five people in comfort. The rest of the accommodation is made up of a fitted kitchen, a dining room with a woodburning stove and a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside the cottage are enclosed front and rear patio gardens with furniture and a BBQ as well as off road parking for two cars. With the beach just a fifteen minute walk away, Railway Cottage is the ideal holiday destination for a family looking to spend their holiday playing in the sand.
Note: The cottage is located on an a road, care to be taken at all times.

A very good well equipped and furnished cottage set in a quiet location with a lot of delightful walks all around. I found the occasional passing train unit (set back at the rear) of interest with the station nearby to explore along this wonderful line

Railway Cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had everything needed (mostly, some coat hooks would be great)
Mike sent excellent instructions to locate the Cottage, 2 cars can be parked if one is smaller and you can proficiently park across the bottom of the driveway behind the car on it (as i did without blocking the lane)

The accommodation was lovely, very comfortable, cosy and equipped with everything we needed.
Please be aware that the private road to the cottage was a challenge, large potholes to negotiate to access the cottage.
