A cosy mid-terrace cottage located in the quaint village of Cark in Cartmel, benefiting from a secluded garden and from being just two miles from the priory village of Cartmel and eight miles from Lake Windermere.

The ancient priory village of Cartmel is nearby and has a host of excellent restaurants and pubs, plus specialist shops including the Cartmel Village Shop, home of the sticky toffee pudding.
Within 45 minutes' drive are the pretty Lakeland villages of Coniston, Hawkshead and Grasmere and Lakeside, the tip of Lake Windermere, is just eight miles away and is home to the Aquarium of the Lakes and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway.

Lovely cottage in excellent location. Very spacious and ideal for my dog as it has a secure garden. Well equipped with everything we needed the only thing we couldn't find were some ice cube trays lol. A very pleasant place to stay. Home from home double bed super comfy and bedrooms lovely. I will definitely be back.

We had a lovely holiday in Amber cottage. It was spotlessly clean , well equipped and comfortable. The back garden was well maintained and most importantly, secure for our dog.
The village and surrounding area were delightful.
We would definitely stay in Amber Cottage again if we were holidaying in the area and will recommend it to family and friends.

The cottage is in a lovely location. It is the best equipped cottage we have stayed in, and very comfortable. We did have difficulty locking the back door but that was the only thing we could fault. We would definitely book it again.
