The Gatehouse is a lovely semi-detached cottage in Middleham. With two en-suite bedrooms, a zip/link king-size double and a double, it sleeps four people comfortably. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard garden with patio and furniture and off road parking for two cars . I can't say enough positive things about our stay at the Gatehouse. Lovely owners, fantastic location and a great house. To top it off we were given advice on a local walk and pub. Both amazing although still feeling the walk! We will definitely be back.

Greeted at the property by the friendly host on arrival, very comfortable stay in a convenient location for walking/hiking. Shop, chip shop, 2/3 pubs and restaurant within a few hundred metres and of course the castle.

Excellent cottage with good facilities perfectly located in this lovely village. Roger the owner was always available to offer advice and help. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.
