Set away from the main house visitors wlll appreciate the lovely views from the cottage and the spacious decked terrace to the front which is an ideal place for a morning coffee and a quiet read.
The gardens to the front are very well maintained and there is a quiet seating area below the cottage to be enjoyed.
The comfortable sitting/dining room is cosy and smart and the neat well-equipped kitchen ensures that visitors are able to prepare a meal easily.
The bedroom, like the sitting room, has far reaching views to the front and a modern en-suite shower room.
It is just a pleasant downhill stroll into the smart spa village of Strathpeffer which has good local services and plenty of hotels where a bar meal can be enjoyed along with a dram! For walkers and cyclists the area is rich in pathways and cycle tracks and dog walkers will love the woods close by.
Strathpeffer is also a great base for those who want to explore the unspoilt beauty of the Highlands and from here a day trip across the sea to Skye is easily achieved or perhaps focus on the north east coastline with its pretty fishing villages.
The capital of the Highlands, Inverness is just a short drive away and here guests can shop till they drop or drive around the edge of Loch Ness, for a bit of monster hunting.
