In Kingsand, opposite the beach slipway, a handsome, Grade II listed, Georgian house on three levels with splendid out-to-sea views.
A huge amount of work and restoration has transformed it into a lovely, spacious home, with its quirky origins cleverly dovetailed with 21st cent. comfort.
A wonderful house for extended families.
Some low door lintels - tall people beware! From lane through the little porch to a hall with Victorian tiled floor; living room with wood-burning stove, and sea view; at the back, generous kitchen with dining table and chairs glazed doors to courtyard and, at the far end, a comfy sofa, and door to teeny outdoor area and utility shed. Under-stairs toilet (mind head!). From hall, stairs (stair gates) up to first floor and three bedrooms, a roomy double with futon sofa bed, en suite shower-room and sea view, another double and a twin; family bathroom.
Further stairs up to the second floor and a king-size bedroom with the best sea view, and bathroom with good sea view from the bath! A secure courtyard on two levels with steps up to a patio with garden furniture back gate to a private footway.

Beautiful old property with lots of character and space. Very well looked after. You wouldn’t think different people use it each week, you walk in and think it’s just for you. Credit to the turn over team.

This property was brilliant. There was plenty of room for our party of 9. The beds were comfortable, the property presented so well, and it had everything you needed. We loved our stay and have already booked up for next summer.

What a fabulous place to stay, so close to the sea! You can stumble in for an early morning swim!! Lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves!
I highly recommend this as a place to stay for swimming and walking and chilling!
