In Kingsand, an 'upside down' little house on three levels with good sea views, snuggled in a row of 18th century houses, two minutes stroll from the beach and Coast Path.
Access is from a narrow lane which has no passing traffic.
At ground level there are two bedrooms: a twin, and a double with French windows to a tiny courtyard, imaginatively done just for two; ground floor toilet.
Then head down stairs to a lower level to a smart, roomy bathroom.
Up on the first floor there is a light, open-plan living/dining room and kitchen area with those lovely time-wasting sea views - binoculars provided to observe the shipping which passes. Thoroughly well done, comfortable and convenient.
Take a day walking in nearby Mount Edgcumbe's 800 acres or take the seasonal pedestrian ferry to Plymouth.

This was our second time at the cottage, which has fantastic views and is 2 minutes from the beach. The cottage is very comfortable, with bedrooms downstairs and the living room and kitchen on the first floor. It had everything we needed, we will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Chough Cottage. It had everything we could have needed for our stay. The highlights were the stunning view, the deep bath and being 1 minute from the beach. The hosts were super helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here!

We found Clough Cottage a pleasant place to stay in a great location, it would have been great to know about the loft area for sleeping.
We found the double bed slightly uncomfortable, and this will prevent us from returning to this property.
