Two miles from Mawgan, and two from Manaccan, above the Helford River, is Swift Cottage.
Cosy Swift Cottage is comfortable and welcoming, with beamed ceilings, squishy sofas and an open fire in the sitting room.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you'll need.
Stairs lead to two bedrooms - a pretty double and a room with child sized bunks.
They share a family bathroom.
As well as its own enclosed garden, guests can enjoy the owners fifty-five acres of fields and woodland with panoramic countryside views and woodland trails.
Children will love the outdoor play space, swings, football goals, climbing frames and sandpit, and the friendly owners will be happy to introduce you to their ducks and hens.
For those not so sunny days, there is table tennis, a pool table, and games/toys, inside a large games cabin to keep everyone entertained.
If you can bear to tear yourself away from the onsite entertainments, the village of Mawgan-in-Meneage is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on Mawgan Creek, which leads to the Helford River.
From here it is a tranquil walk to National Trust Tremayne Quay, whilst the Seal sanctuary, and Flambards theme park both make for excellent family days out. The beaches at Gunwalloe, Church Cove, and Poldhu are all within 5 miles for a more relaxed turn of pace.

Swift Cottage is a welcoming cottage on the owner's 55 acre farm. This cosy holiday home has two bedrooms and sleeps up to four people in one double bedroom and a child bunk room. They share a family bathroom. In the sitting room there is an open fire for chilly nights and the smart kitchen with dining area is well equipped with everything you'll need. Outside, is an enclosed private garden, and guests are welcome to explore the owner's fifty-five acres of fields and woodland. Comfortable, cosy cottage, Well equipped with thoughtful personal extras. Private courtyard. Shared playroom and huge garden area with play equipment and woodland walk. Great for the grandchildren. Sarah and Jem, excellent hosts.

Very happy with Swift Cottage. No complaints, the owner was very nice and helpful when needed. Great place for young children to play in the field and enjoy the outdoor space. Highly recommended and would go back.
