This charming semi-detached Lakeland stone cottage is located in the village of Grasmere, a popular destination in the centre of the Lake District.
Tanner Croft Cottage is a two bedroom property with wood burning stove and breathtaking views, offering a cosy base for a two-couple or small family holiday in this beautiful Lake District village.
The cottage has a cosy charm the moment you walk into the open plan living space, with the sitting room centred around a feature fireplace that houses a wood burning stove.
Both the sitting and separate dining area offer relaxing views across to the village.
The kitchen has all the necessary amenities to keep your party well fed but retains the country living charm prevalent throughout the cottage.
The first-floor bedrooms complete the accommodation, with a double and a twin continuing the cosy feel. The cottage has a small gravelled garden area and from here you can relax on the garden seating and take in the views at the end of your day’s exploits. Grasmere is steeped in historical charm, with all necessary amenities within walking distance.
Perhaps try some famous Grasmere gingerbread as you wander through the village on your way back from lunch at one of the local inns. Grasmere could not be more central, so everything is accessible from the village.

We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed staying in the cottage.
The beds were comfy, it's in a super location in the centre of Grasmere, looking out onto the field and the kitchen was well equipped.
It could do with a deep clean and maybe getting towards ready for redecorating.
We are looking at staying there next year though so it's a minor point!

Great property in amazing location right next to amenities. Great walks from back door. Would have been ten out of ten with a king size bed and bath sheets rather than towels. Amazingly warm and cosy with puzzles and games galore.
