Delightful, newly equipped mid-terrace weavers' cottage dating from 1810 in the heart of the coastal town of Kirkcudbright.
Ideally located for exploring this attractive town and the lovely coast and surrounding countryside, the cottage is ideal for family or friends looking for a relaxing break.
The property accommodates up to four people - having three bedrooms with king size, double, and single beds respectively. Each room has fitted bedroom units with plenty of hanging space and shelving for clothes, etc. Relax in the sitting room near the cosy woodburning stove while catching up on your favourite TV programmes.
Across the hall is the dining area where home-cooked meals prepared in the kitchen can be enjoyed.
Quiet and spacious garden at the rear - with shrubs and lawn, and patio with furniture and BBQ for outdoor meals.
A short stroll takes you to the centre of Kirkcudbright, known as the Artists Town, and a variety of shops, galleries, museums and cafes - and, not least, Broughton House with its beautiful gardens.
Enjoy a day at nearby Dhoon Bay or the Carrick shore, and take advantage of the superb walking and cycling this lovely part of Scotland offers.

This is a lovely cottage, with every facility you could wish for. It is very spacious and well furnished, and kept extremely clean. Very convenient for the lovely town for Kirkcudbright and all it has to offer.
Will definitely be visiting St Mary`s Place again.

We really enjoyed it, it was very well equipped and comfortable, it is very traditional but we liked the comfort of carpets and comfy sofas rather than hard flooring, which seems to be the trend.
The beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels and thoughtful provisions.

Gorgeous welcoming and comfortable 'home from home', an interesting house in a beautiful environment (not far from a red squirrel hide!) and convenient for shops (Tesco nearest). Fabulous private garden with sun-trap to sit out in, and barbecue area. Easy on-street parking. The house is well equipped with eg bedding, kitchen equipment etc, and helpful owner is near at hand.
