Tannery Cottage is a cosy, stone-built cottage nestled close to the centre of Burford.
Your family will be delighted with this home-away-from-home, offering a superb base for touring the wonders of the Cotswold.
Upon entering the property, you are immediately greeted into a characterful interior, boasting exposed beams, idyllic furnishings and a welcoming charm.
The designated chef will be delighted with the kitchen, where you will find a range cooker, a dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso machine, ideal for rustling up family tasty treats.
During the winter months, snuggle up with your loved ones within a cosy sitting room, where plush sofas that sit in front of a roaring woodburning fire.
For a good night’s sleep, retire of an evening within one of the three well-presented bedrooms, comprising of two elegant double bedrooms and a charming twin bedroom.
During the warmer months, make the most of an idyllic enclosed garden, which is perfect for letting the dog stretch his legs or simply relaxing with a cooling beverage after a busy day exploring.

Tannery Cottage is a 19th century cottage located in Burford, Oxfordshire, in a quiet location. The owners have created a very stylish bolt hole that epitomises the classic English country charm, with its original flagstone floors, the wonky beams and oak flooring. The property opens up to an open-plan fitted kitchen and dining area with views to the garden, as well as a living room with a wood burner. Upstairs has three double bedrooms, the one on the top floor can be split into twins on request, which must be made at least two weeks prior to arrival.
Bathroom with over the bath shower, WC and basin . Outside you will find an enclosed garden area with furniture provided. Roadside parking is available on the quiet street. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome at an additional charge of £25 per pet.
Please note this property has a Good House Keeping Bond of £100, this will be shadowed at the time of booking.
Note: The stairs to the twin room are steep and therefore not suitable for the less mobile or very young, the stairs up to the first floor are also steep. Note: This cottage is suited to 4 adults only. Note: There are 3 bedrooms as the cottage is only suitable for four people. Customers won't have use of all 3 bedrooms, you can choose between either having two double beds, or one double and two singles.Please note that the bed in the top bedroom can be made as a double or twin. Requests for this must be made at least two weeks prior to arrival.Please note this property has a Good House Keeping Bond of £100, this will be shadowed at the time of booking.Please note an initial supply of logs & kindling is provided for the property between October until end of March; additional log supplies can be purchased locally.
