This beautifully-presented, ground floor wooden lodge offers guests a beautifully quiet, rural retreat with so much to do close by. Located near Saxmundham, on Suffolk’s stunning Heritage Coast it is ideal for walkers, cyclists, nature lovers and those who have a keen interest in music and culture.
Perfect for couples and families looking for a base to explore the beautiful Suffolk coastline, this lodge is a short drive away from Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, Minsmere, Framlingham and Southwold to name a few highlights.
This secluded lodge is located on the owners grounds with it's own access. There is ample parking and and enclosed garden alongside the owners large pond.
The patio is ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or dining outside in the summer months with full use of bbq firepit.
During the winter the lodge has a beautiful wood burner to relax by after a day out exploring making this an ideal retreat whatever the time of the year.
Step in to the main living area offering open plan living with a kitchen area, dining and seating with the wood burner being a real focus within the room. The property has a family bathroom with whirlpool bath, shower over, basin and WC. The two bedrooms are cosy with a double room and twin room located next to each other.
Located just a few miles from the well-serviced market town of Saxmundham where there are two supermarkets, a train station and various independent shops.
For those with an interest in History Orford and Framlingham Castle are a must as well as making sure you visit Sutton Hoo. Snape Maltings is within a 15 minute drive which has a selection of musical events throughout the year and a wonderful shopping experience with cafes and pubs to enjoy a re-fuel at! Minsmere is close by which is perfect for any keen birdwatcher.

Acorn Lodge is a beautifully-presented lodge near Saxmundham in East Anglia. The lodge can sleep four people in two bedrooms which are made up of a double and a twin as well as a separate bathroom. The rest of the lodge is made up of an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Fibre broadband/wifi.To the outside is ample off road parking and an enclosed garden with furniture and firepit. Set in wonderful surroundings, Acorn Lodge can be enjoyed at any time of the year.

We visited Acorn Lodge 2nd time and had such a relaxing week.
The location is ideal, lovely walks, shops & beaches close, short drive away.
Lodge has everything we needed and our two dogs had a nice week away too. The garden is fully secure for the dogs.
We are planning to go back next year again.

We used AL as a base, as visiting friends in the area. Loved it, especially the dogs.
Found it very clean and comfy. The log burner kept the lodge really warm and cozy.
Loved the little touch of the small red light outside the lodge, great when trying to find the lodge in the dark.
Will definitely visit again ☺️

The lodge definitely had the 'wow' factor. Very clean, cosy and comfortable. Was exactly as described. The area is lovely and very near main roads which assists with visiting all the surrounding coastline and villages. Supermarkets within 10 minute drive. Very secure garden for Dogs.
