The ground floor comprises a spacious kitchen with a fireplace and lovely window seat, while the comfortable sitting room, with open ceiling, exposed beams and open fire, sits atop the property on the second floor.
A small courtyard garden is ideal for an evening tipple or two, and a short walk takes guests into the centre of this interesting and lively old town.
With the 18-hole Kirkbymoorside Golf Club 0.25 miles away, and the stunning countryside of the North York Moors, traditional seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough, and historic York all within easy reach, this is an ideal holiday base whatever the time of year.

The interior of the property also includes a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with an open fire. To the outside, find roadside parking as well as lockable storage and a patio with a furniture and a BBQ. Crooked Cottage is a charming property in a superb location for touring countryside, coastline and fascinating towns with the one you love. Please note; This property only accepts a minimum of 2 night stays. During January and February 2026 this property only accepts 2, 3 and 4 night bookings.

The cottage was perfect for us and our dog. A short walk from the high street but very quiet for a good nights sleep. The bed is very comfortable and considering how cold it was outside we were very cosy. Would definitely stay at Crooked Cottage again.

Fantastic, clean, comfortable cottage in a perfect location of the North Yorkshire Moors.
The cottage was well equipped throughout. The upper lounge area was a highlight, such a comfortable space to relax.
Ample parking everyday.
Short walk to the town centre which had everything you needed.
Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay.Bed very comfy kitchen well equipped.One negative was the garden furniture not very comfortable to sit for a long time so didn’t really spend much time in the back and that spoilt it a bit for us.Easy to get around by car and pubs in village very welcoming.
