The Bothy is a superb barn conversion presented and equipped to an excellent standard throughout, with wonderful open countryside views.
This outstanding property is located with the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and lies on the outskirts of the village of Slapton, with Torcross and the unspoilt shingle beach close by. The front door opens directly into a wonderful open plan kitchen/sitting/dining room with a high quality fitted kitchen with integrated appliances and separate utility room, two two seater sofas and a co-ordinating wooden dining table and four chairs.
There are delightful rural views from two floor to ceiling windows with Juliet balconies and a wood burning stove. On the lower ground floor there are two double bedrooms. Bedroom one is furnished with a zip and link super king-size bed (which can be separated into two singles beds on request) and bedroom two is furnished with a king-size bed. The fully tiled shower room is fitted to a high standard with large walk-in shower cubicle with rain-head shower and separate hand -held attachment, wash handbasin and wc. Outside there is a large decked terrace with a glass balcony and outdoor furniture with a further gravelled sitting out area with firepit and a hot tub Both areas enjoy wonderful countryside views across the valley.
There is also ample parking for up to four cars on the gravelled drive.

Lovely location, the holiday home was just perfect, with everything you would need for a break away. Such a peaceful setting, watching the sheep was so relaxing. It was great to see the swallows nesting and the buzzards in the field. Thank you.

We loved it at the Bothy. Very peaceful and lovely surroundings. The only draw back was the hot tub buzzing in the middle of the night but after a couple of nights we got used to it. Otherwise everything at the cottage is done to a high standard, beds comfy and good facilities. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Our stay at The Bothy was just the get away from it all we needed. The location is absolutely beautiful, so quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was to a very high standard. We very much enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return again.
