Set in the heart of beautiful Burton Bradstock is Bramble Cottage, a Grade II listed thatched stone cottage. Positioned right on the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, Burton Bradstock is a picture postcard historical village, full of beautiful thatched cottages, a local village store, post office and two long established public houses, which are regarded as serving mouth-watering provincially caught fish and distinctive local ales.
Bramble Cottage is one of the oldest in this beautiful village, having been built some 350 years ago. It has undergone a comprehensive restoration project, seeing a new kitchen, bathroom, furnished with new furniture and decorated throughout. With its three bedrooms and a contemporary kitchen. Unwind and enjoy a drink in the evenings after a day exploring the local area in the cottage style sitting and dining area.

Offering all the comforts of a traditional Dorset Cottage, Bramble Cottage, with its modern touches, make it a relaxing home from home. West Bay is less than 2 miles away and gives you the opportunity to discover the colourful fishing harbour, the popular Broadchurch filming locations and a chance to sample some of the Provincially caught crabs and lobsters.
Bridport is 3 miles away and has a busy farmers market and weekly antiques and collectables market. Visitors are made welcome throughout the year at the nearby West Dorset Golf Club. Bramble Cottage is the ideal setting for family or friends to enjoy a break exploring the World Heritage Dorset Jurassic coast. The cottage has a sitting room with ornamental fireplaces and a dining area and a cottage style kitchen. Outside is a mature well established garden with a patio and lawned area with garden furniture (accessed via a short path behind the cottage). This thatched cottage near the coast with village pubs and a shop is perfect for a family holiday. Please note: No naked flames (such as candles) in the cottage due to the thatched roof. The cottage was perfect for our family of four, clean, cosy and well located. My only thing to mention is the curtain rail on the living room window comes away from the wall and we could have done with more pegs for the washing! That’s only nit picking though. We loved Bramble Cottage and have already booked again for next year!

We absolutely loved staying in Bramble Cottage. It felt like a home from home. The cottage was really lovely, the beds were so comfortable, I didn't want to get up in the morning. We had everything we needed, the only quibble was, that we couldn't find a freezer, which would have been nice. Other than that, the cottage was amazing, in a great place to visit all around Dorset. Thank you.

Cottage in a great position. Garden was great for 2 dogs. The problem was leaving and entering cottage. No pavement on a very busy road with 2 dogs and 7 year old.
Also, think 10 am too early for leaving time as you are not able to enter until 4pm.
