A pretty Grade II thatched cottage, Little Ivy dates back 400 hundred years, located in the heart of West Lulworth, this most popular Dorset village is just moments from the UNESCO site Lulworth Cove.
It is a semi-detached and the sister cottage is Ivy Cottage. Accommodating up to three guests in two bedrooms this cosy cottage also has, a living area with electric fire place, dining table and well-equipped kitchen it’s a perfect holiday home for a couple or small family. Seconds away from the cottage is The Castle Inn, a pet friendly pub with a lovely garden. Stroll just a few minutes from the property and find Lulworth Cove with its stunning and geologically unique cove.
Be sure to try tempting seafood from the seasonal shacks most serving locally caught fish and crab.
A must is the best ice creams from the small local shops.
There are also several pubs serving food with beautiful views. The South West Coastal Path runs through Lulworth and with abundance of walks in both directions you are assured some spectacular cliff top views.
Don’t’ forget to walk over to Durdle Door for those who enjoy an energetic walk. Corfe Castle, part of Enid Blyton’s inspiration in her Famous Five novels is just a short drive away and with it’s castle ruins and stone village cottages is a beautiful place to visit. You will be spoilt for choice of activities from the white knuckle rib raider rides, kayaking and sailing, to the more sedate pastimes of eating delicious fresh seafood. Little Ivy is a Grade II listed thatched cottage situated in the village of West Lulworth in Dorset moments from Unesco site Lulworth Cove. The cottage can sleep 3 people in 1 double and 1 single bedroom as well has a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen/diner/sitting room with electric fire. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for 1 car and a garden with furniture. Little Ivy will suit couples who will enjoy short walk to the Lulworth cove and pub. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Note: off road allocated parking for ONE small/medium vehicle only (size restriction of 5m length x 2.25m width with an entrance drive width of 2.8m). Nearest public pay and display car park is Lulworth Cove BH20 5RS (approximately 15 min walk)
Note: please be aware gardeners will be attending the property intermittently throughout the year for essential garden maintenance and will require access to the outbuildings.
Note: There is a shared washing machine in an outhouse some 7 meters from the cottage in the shared garden with Ivy Cottage.

Thank you for providing tea, coffee, milk and so on. The cottage has a nice atmosphere, is a bit dark on the ground floor, though. It is really nice to have the enclosed garden. Some cushions for outside seating would be good, and we also think that the wash basin in the bathroom is a bit small. Beautiful location.

Getting into and out of the bath was difficult without a grab bar (being elderly)
Hand basin the width of a toothbrush was ridiculous.
Was very surprised that there was only a basic tv, even without a set top box.
There was no CD player as advertised. Our selection of cds were obviously unused. Very disappointing.

Lovely garden, very safe for dogs. We had an issue with the bathroom but it was sorted promptly. Very clean and lovely to have milk, tea coffee sugar and wine for our arrival
