This four bedroom, detached house benefits from fabulous views of Newton Ferrers.
A perfect choice for family reunions and gatherings, or those who simply wish to enjoy comfort and peace, it is a wonderful place for a maximum of 8 guests to visit.
With river frontage, occupying a double plot, Timbers rests in an enviable setting with idyllic views up and down Newton Creek to Yealm Pool and across the creek to Noss Woods.
Timbers boasts four double bedrooms, a snug room for children, three bathrooms, a dining room, fully fitted kitchen, utility room and pretty bordering gardens.
There is ample room for a couple or families to relax, whether this be in the lovely snug, or the sitting room which is home to a piano and a gas woodburner effect fire.
A scenic outlook over the clear water is the perfect opportunity to sit back and admire the boats and kayaks passing by. Timbers sits in its own large plot, totally private and hidden from the road.
Outdoors, the garden has been thoughtfully maintained, each area is a suntrap with the option of having shade if required.
South facing, the property soaks up the sun all day and it’s very convenient for watching the comings and goings on the creek and Yealm Pool.
Timbers also benefits from having its own tidal slipway down to the foreshore.
The destination is covered with many walks that meander along the waterside and across the fields, while to the north Dartmoor's high tors and open spaces beckon those who love wild country.
The city of Plymouth with its shops, Marine Aquarium and Barbican quayside area is just eight miles away while Totnes with its 'alternative' view on life is a must.

Hosting five bedrooms; two king-size, a twin (zip/link), a double, and a ground floor TV room/study/bedroom, along with two bathrooms, and a ground floor shower room, this property can sleep up to eight people. Inside you will also find a kitchen/breakfast room, dining room with gas stove, utility, and a sitting room with gas woodburner-effect fire. To the outside is ample roadside parking, and a veranda, enclosed garden to front, and side patio with furniture, along with a barbecue. Resting in a picturesque village, Timbers is a scenic retreat in a calming part of England.

A delightful house that feels cared for and loved by its owners. It is very comfortable and well equipped and in a wonderful setting. We appreciated the Christmas decorations. The heating system is a bit random and not always responsive. Perhaps the thermostat should be in the sitting room...? However, the owners were very responsive. Overall, a great stay.
