This two-bedroom, semi-detached, stone cottage is located on the outskirts of Buxton, a charming place to base your holiday, with historic sights to see, and characterful attractions.
Suited for couples, friends or families Shenton Cottage offers a peaceful getaway, your little escape from the hustle and bustle any time of the year.
The interior comprises a sitting room with comfortable recliner chair and a three seater sofa with USB connections, a TV and a multi-fuel stove setting you up for those cosy nights in, should you wish to spend an evening snuggling up in the warmth.
A whitewashed kitchen rests nearby, styled in an almost country fashion, with a dining table ideal for those home cooked meals with views of the garden and beyond.
Follow the stairs up to the next floor and you will be welcomed by two fabulous bedrooms each presented with zip/link options for flexibility, and a homely feel which creates a relaxing sleeping environment.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, had everything that we needed. Very comfortable, only a short walk into town, hot tub was great and also undercover so it didn’t matter that it was raining you could still sit out in it. Also was left some lovely scones with jam and cream for our arrival with a bottle of wine. Very clean. Thank you.

The most gorgeous stay at Shenton Cottage! The place was absolutely spotless and had incredibly comfortable beds and sofas. The location is a 15 minute walk into the town centre and is situated amongst the most beautiful countryside walks. Highly recommend anyone considering visiting to stay!

Accomodation was really comfortable and added bonus of hot tub.
We did not find it too noisy at all.
The distance to Buxton was very useful.
I did contact the owners about a couple of issues, they got straight back, to me.
There was a small bottle of milk left, which lasted until grocery delivery.
Lovely cream tea, and bottle of wine. Much appreciated
