Not sure if you listed the rather steep staircase in this property ?? It did not present a serious problem to me, but for some of my friends if booked would struggle to get up and down. I thought it was a very well maintained place with everything one would hope for. Will give serious consideration for a return visit next year

Really enjoyed our short break at High View Cottage. Perfect location in Castleton. We found the cottage to be comfortable, clean and tidy, with all the facilities we needed. Perfect for a couples break. We hiked Mam Tor from Castleton.

Perfect cottage for two plus dog. In a quiet location on a cul de sac on the edge of Castleton within easy walking distance of all amenities (7 pubs!! plus many cafes), all the caves and walks into open countryside from the back of the house. We parked our car and then didn’t use it throughout our stay, Spotless, recently refurbished home from home with all essentials.
