Bwthyn at Brynhyfryd is a holiday cottage within a near-acre of gorgeous grounds of Brynhyfryd, a former Victorian mansion.
The location is just fabulous and inside is comfortable and decorated in a traditional style.
Bwthyn is in an ideal location for exploring the Llŷn Peninsula and makes for a great family base. The kitchen has all you need - an electric cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster.
The dining room has a table and chairs, and sideboard ideal for family suppers or breakfasts.
There is shared use of a washing machine located in the basement of the main house. The sitting room looks out towards the marina and the sea beyond.
A sofa and chairs surround an electric fire, TV, DVD and CD player. The bedrooms consist of a double bedroom that has access to a balcony where you’ll find a small table and chairs.
This is an ideal place for taking in the view with a cuppa, or glass of something stronger if you prefer! There is also a bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower, loo and wash hand basin. There is a private garden to the front of the cottage which is grassed and has shrubs. Make the most of the patio area where there is garden furniture for you to use, too. You’re also free to stroll around the grounds and enjoy outdoor games - table tennis, croquet and other assorted games have been provided for you. Parking is available outside. Bwthyn is just on the outskirts of Pwllheli, a busy harbour town which has a mix of shops, cafes and restaurants.
There are two beaches to choose from close by - South Beach and Glandon.
You’re just a ten-minute stroll from the Llŷn coastal path, too! You’ve got great attractions, walks, scenery and beaches of the Llŷn Peninsula, with the benefit of being close to the Snowdonia National Park too. You really can make the most of a North Wales holiday from this holiday cottage.
Enjoy!

Bwthyn at Brynhyfryd is a comfortable holiday cottage set in the grounds of Brynhyfryd, a Victorian mansion built by shipbuilder William Jones, which stands in well-kept grounds of almost an acre. Pwllheli translates to 'saltwater pool' and was, at one time, one of the main shipbuilding centres in North Wales and has a long maritime history. Today, the Marina is considered one of the best in the country and is a European Centre of Excellence in sailing.
'A tranquil haven within easy walking distance of the beach, marina, and all this bustling little town has on offer'
It is located just on the outskirts of this bustling coastal town with its variety of shops, cafes and restaurants in addition to the two main beaches, South Beach and Glandon. No more than an easy ten-minute walk from the National Sailing Centre of Wales and the Llyn Coastal Path. This compact north-west corner of North Wales makes it easy to access the attractions of the area - the majestic mountains of Snowdonia, the castles and mines of Gwynedd, water sports, golf, horse riding and so much more.
Bwthyn at Brynhyfryd is a peaceful haven to return to after exploring the many delights of the area. The owner is happy for you to relax and enjoy the lovely well kept grounds and will even provide garden games such as croquet for your enjoyment.
More than 4 in your party? Brynbach, which sleeps 2, is also located within the grounds of Brynhyfryd.

Lovely comfortable cottage, with beautiful garden and dedicated parking space. Great to hear the history of the house from Mr Evans, the houseowner (he could write a book about his life!) I especially loved my morning chats with the sheep in the field next door

The owner is very welcoming and a font of local knowledge. The cottage itself is very clean and secure with a stunning garden which is well maintained. The cottage is well situated - a short walk from the town centre and two supermarkets. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in this property. Plenty of room, considering it was three adults. The updated shower was a lovely find.
Beautiful garden, and the view from the windows and the bedroom balcony was stunning. Close enough to walk to the town centre, especially if you use the back gate
