Gwyndy Bach is a fabulously modern family holiday cottage situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Beddgelert in Snowdonia.
It has a river running through its heart which flows under the iconic stone bridge - it’s a much photographed location! This is a holiday cottage offering a warm and bright welcome and with a good selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes and galleries right outside.
Gwyndy Bach makes for the perfect base to explore this amazing part of North Wales, whatever the season. The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with an electric range oven, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster.
There’s a large island that makes a great breakfast bar. The washing machine is located in the utility room.
There is also a lovely wooden dining table with a bench seat and chairs - perfect for family suppers! The sitting room is a pure delight with its pop of bright and cheerful yellow in the form of the most comfy armchairs! There is an equally comfy sofa and two reclining armchairs which are all set around a wood burning stove which makes this area perfect for relaxed evenings after a busy day. If you would like a different bed configuration please contact Menai Holidays 7 days before your arrival. There is a 43" LED smart TV for your entertainment. There is a cloakroom on the ground floor with loo and wash hand basin. Heading upstairs, there are three bedrooms: The first is a large room with a king size bed an en suite with shower over the bath, loo and wash hand basin. There are also two twin bedrooms, one of which has beds that can be made up as a king size bed. Finally, there’s a shower room with a large shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. At the front of the house there’s a small garden that runs the length of the property as well as parking for one car at the back of the house. Garden and surrounding property really needs some attention.Weeds and shrubs very overgrown. Garden unusable which is a shame.
Also kitchen windows locked and key hidden- pretty sure this is a serious breach of health and safety!
Other than these things, we really love the house and area.

Absolutely lovely house, comfy, spacious, well-equipped, handy for local shop, cafes, restaurants, walks. Nowhere to sit outside would be the only downside. Sykes/Menai comms are poor which was frustrating before the holiday but the owner was brilliant when I rang her directly.

What a beautiful house, everything you need (apart from a useable garden), warm, clean, spacious, neat shops, restaurants and mountains! Fantastic.
Sykes/menai are not good at comms in advance but the owner was brilliant.
