Slade House is a wonderful historic house based near Ilam, Derbyshire. It is set over three floors. It has four bedrooms: one first floor king-size with an en-suite shower room, one first floor king-size with en-suite bathroom and two second floor super king-size (zip/link). There is a second floor bathroom and a ground floor shower room. Downstairs has a fitted kitchen and dining area, as well as a sitting room. Outside has a courtyard area and a front lawned garden. Off-road parking is available for several cars. Slade House is a wonderful holiday home in the heart of the Peak District.

A lovely property, very well equipped and comfortable, particularly the beds.
The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and Julie's homemade cake was delicious. The garden and surroundings were impeccably kept, and the views breathtaking. It is pretty remote and a car is essential.

Beautiful cottage and surroundings . Owner really lovely and generous with cake and lending a toy for my grandson .
Would highly recommend and my wider family want to book again not only Slade house but the other two cottages for a short break.

Slade House was a great place to stay, although adjacent to two other properties we still felt secluded. Access from the parking area was down a path and some small steps which could prove awkward for older or disabled people but apart from that the property was lovely and the views in the surrounding area were stunning.
