This delightful holiday cottage is the perfect spot to relax and unwind on the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales. With 18th century beams still in tact this cottage oozes character throughout. We can just imagine being around the dining room table with all the family and the woodburning stove in the background.
There is plenty of garden to enjoy at Tyddyn Morthwyl and watch the family play whilst sipping a hot cuppa on the veranda.
You are a short drive to plenty of fantastic villages including; Criccieth with fabulous beach, castle and abundance of restaurants and cafes. Drive a little further and you’ll be in Porthmadog hopping onto the Welsh Highland Railway. A little further again and you arrive at the enchanting Italian village of Portmeirion. The Snowdonia national park is on your doorstep and there is a huge amount of beaches to explore on the Llyn Peninsula and beyond.
A lovely light sitting room offers you a flat screen TV with free-view, DVD and wonderful wood burning stove to keep you warm in the winter.
There is a well equipped farmhouse kitchen with dining table & chairs, gas range cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer.
A wonderful dining room with original beams, spectacular table and chairs with an enormous inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove. I can picture the port being passed round already!
The sun room has views out to the lawn, lovely sofas, HD TV with blu ray and Sky free-view and a table tennis table to keep you entertained!
The ground floor has a twin room with zip and link beds which can be made into a super king on request. Upstairs takes you to Double ensuite with super king size bed, a separate double room with super king bed with option to twin if requested, a twin room with two singles and single bedroom.
The ground floor bathroom has a shower, loo and wash hand basin. The upstairs en suite to the double bedroom has a roll top bath, wash hand basin and loo. The family bathroom has bath, shower over, loo and wash hand basin.
The outside has ample parking with wonderful lawns and plenty of space to store bikes.

Tyddyn Morthwyl has extensive gardens to enjoy so you can also sit with a cuppa (or glass of wine!) on one of the patio areas and watch as the children play in the clean, fresh air. There is ample parking and facility to store bikes or canoes which helps to make this a great holiday cottage for a get together in North Wales!
You will be only a short drive away from the popular and charming seaside town of Criccieth on the Llyn Peninsula.Criccieth has fantastic cafés, restaurants, shops and pubs as well as the beach and great walks nearby, of course! If you wanted to venture a bit further the Italian village of Portmeirion is a short drive away, as are the lovely towns of Pwllheli and Porthmadog. It's also not too far if you do want to explore a little further afield and get a taste of Snowdonia during your stay.Tyddyn Morthwyl is a fabulous holiday cottage in a great spot to explore everything that the Llyn Peninsula and North Wales has to offer.
Note: Garden is enclosed, however dogs could escape if determined so must be kept on a lead due to livestock close by. Property is detached in its own large gardens, although the house shares an entrance drive with the neighbouring caravan park.Note: Pets to be kept confined to the rear parts of the house (kitchen, utility, dining, corridor and sun rooms) and not allowed upstairs or in bedrooms and the garden is left in the condition you find it with the gates kept closed.Note: Please note the property doesn't allow short breaks during peak times
