Ty Glyn is a holiday cottage in Criccieth, on the Llyn Peninsula, that commands the most incredible sea views! It has been finished with flair and care to create a contemporary, spacious but welcoming holiday cottage.
Ty Glyn makes the most of the incredible sea views by having the bedrooms downstairs and the open plan living space upstairs. You are welcomed into a spacious hallway that has lots of storage.
Stairs take you up to the amazing open living area that includes the kitchen, dining & sitting areas.
Underfloor heating in here keeps things cosy in the colder months. The sitting area is spacious and has floor to ceiling windows and doors that lead out onto the veranda.
Through these and on the veranda you can take in beautiful and ever-changing sea views! There’s a cosy corner sofa, a Smart TV and DVD player.
You can also sign in to your own Netflix and Amazon accounts. The contemporary kitchen has all you need for cooking up tasty meals - a micro-grill, electric hob and oven with exterior fan, 5 shelf fridge and three drawer freezer, dishwasher, washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.
The breakfast bar is ideal for snacks, or your morning cuppa and croissant! Back to the ground floor now! You’ll find two bathrooms.
One en-suite with loo, wash hand basin and shower.
There’s also the family bathroom with integral wash hand basin with drawers, loo, bath and shower over. The two bedrooms are spacious and have quality furnishings, fluffy towels and gorgeous linen.
The relaxing master bedroom has a king sized bed sea views, a TV and lots of storage.
The second bedroom also has a king sized bed. An additional day bed can be made up by prior request. The gorgeous balcony comprises your outside space.
It has toughened glass sides which keeps the sea breezes at bay so you can enjoy uninterrupted sea views over Cardigan Bay. We especially recommend sitting out here with a glass of wine and soaking up the sunsets.
There is parking for two cars outside the holiday cottage but there is a car park to the front of the house if you need it. From Ty Glyn you can walk along the promenade into the centre of Criccieth.
Here you’ll find a castle, great places to eat and drink including good old ice cream and fish and chips! You can also browse around the shops on the high street or head to the coastal path which is almost on your doorstep.
From this fabulous holiday cottage you could explore beaches and attractions and have experiences not just on the Llyn Peninsula, but into Snowdonia and its majestic mountains, too! A happy family holiday by the seaside in North Wales is assured at Ty Glyn.

Wow, what a view! This sea front holiday cottage has been carefully designed and furnished by the owners to create a modern, spacious but cosy holiday house. Designed to maximise the amazing sea views, this is an upside down house with 2 beautiful king sized bedrooms downstairs, one with en-suite and a family bathroom.
A large hallway with plenty of storage cupboards with stairs leading up to a wonderful open living area comprising of kitchen, dining & living room with vaulted ceiling and underfloor heating for those cooler evenings.

Patio doors lead onto a large veranda with uninterrupted sea views straight out over Cardigan Bay! The perfect place to sip a cool glass of wine and watch the sun go down over the beach.
If you can drag yourself away from the wonderful views, you can stroll along the promenade towards the castle, wander down the coastal path which is almost on your doorstep, stopping on the way for a delicious ice cream from Cadwalader's, or meander around the shops and cafés on the high street which are within easy walking distance.
In fact, you could always park up the car when you arrive and leave it there - so much to do right on the doorstep!
Note: At the back of the house by the kitchen there is a railway line. However, far from causing disturbance, it seems to add ambiance to the house as you listen to the trains pass on their way down the Cambrian Coast.

The property was well stocked with all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, etc.
It was well planned out with a nice big balcony.
We recommend a visit to the ice cream seller on the front near to the lifeguard station. His ice cream in the cornets are in the shape of a rose. Pure art.

Super position, fabulous views and a well equipped holiday let. We loved Criccieth! A great base for exploring the area, lovely safe swimming in the bay, lots of nice walks and interesting towns and historic sites to visit. The housekeeping contact was super responsive.
