Nestled in the heart of the idyllic Sandsend valley, this charming hillside cottage offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature’s finest.
The approach is enchanting—cross a quaint wooden footbridge over the gentle beck, where the water babbles softly beneath, and follow the gently rising steps that lead you to the cottage’s welcoming entrance. The cottage has an entrance porch, a lovely sitting room with a window seat and superb views, a flat screen TV and gas gas-fired stove. There is a charming kitchen/dining area with granite tops electric oven and hob, a microwave and fridge freezer, plus a dining area with seating and views over the rear garden and a cloakroom/WC. On the first floor is a smart double bedroom with a double bed, stunning views across the Valley, and a shower room tiled in natural stone, with a shower, WC and hand wash basin. All bed linen is provided, along with towels and tea towels.
We do not however, provide Beach Towels. There are sloping gardens to the front with two seating areas, apple trees, and a delightful private rear garden with colourful borders, a terrace, quality furniture and an electric BBQ.

This property is not child friendly, it is an adult only property, an error in the listing has filtered through to Trip Advisor. This has now been amended but please be aware that there is only one bedroom for the use of guests.

The Cottage is a stunning period property which has been expertly renovated to an exceptionally high standard. Immaculate. A luxurious retreat for two. We were due to stay her on the 12th -19th of September 2020 but due to Sykes taking over Yorkshire Coastal Cottage they did not take our final payment and cancelled our booking !!But we went to Sandsend for a visit as have visited before and also to see the Cottage as it is called.
