Ideally positioned within the vibrant village of Bigbury-on-Sea, is this fabulous duplex apartment, 2 The Bay. Boasting magnificent views across Bigbury bay, this bolthole offers up a wonderful space from which to enjoy a relaxing retreat to the South Devon Coast.
The large and airy open-plan living space has been well-designed with a fully-fitted kitchen hosting all the necessary appliances for any self-catering stay, as well as a sociable dining space with seating for six and an inviting seating area with a contemporary feel, together providing the ultimate space to entertain family and friends.
Open up the patio door and step out onto the fantastic balcony where you can delight in a delicious lunch all whilst enjoying the breath-taking views of the sea and embracing the fresh salty air. Back indoors a lovely ground-floor twin has been decorated with pretty pastel colours and crisp white bedding, as well as featuring a handy walk-in shower cubicle.
Venture upstairs to the first floor and discover a gorgeous king-size bedroom and a bright and contemporary bathroom with both a bath and shower over, so that you can choose how to best prepare for the day ahead.
When ready to explore your surroundings, be sure to grab your swimming costumes and head down to the soft sandy shores of Bigbury beach or grab your walking boots and set about on a scenic hike along the South West Coast Path.
Cross the River Avon over to Bantham or continue along to Hope Cove for the incredible vistas. Explore the iconic Burgh Island with it's art deco styled hotel that has hosted the great and the good since the 1920's. The Pilchard Inn on the island is a pleasant stop gap before boarding the unique sea tractor to return to your holiday home.

2 The Bay is a beautiful duplex apartment that can be found resting in the village of Bigbury-on-Sea near Challaborough, on the south coast of Devon. Home to a king-size bedroom and a ground-floor twin with a walk-in shower, this property can sleep up to four guests. The first floor is complete with a bathroom, whilst the ground floor is home to a cloakroom and an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting room. Outside there is an enclosed balcony with an outdoor dining space, and designated parking for one car. 2 The Bay is a charming abode offering a wonderful setting for any escape to the coast.
