A few minutes stroll and you are at picture- perfect Elterwater village, with its iconic 17th Century Inn – the Britannia, serving good food and local ales,and the Langdale Valley, with dozens of walks and cycle trails to enjoy.
A short drive away is vibrant Ambleside and the shores of Windermere.
A little further away is the lovely village of Hawkshead and Coniston Water.
Back at the Stables, you’ll be nestled amongst the most scenic and dramatic mountains in the Lake District, with a plethora of eateries in walking distance as well as ‘The Brit’ – the Eltermere Inn, the Three Shires Inn, the Old Dungeon Ghyll and the Langdale Estate & Country Club, with a spa and pool, and with on-site pub Wainwrights.
