Puffins is a charming dwelling for a coastal escape to Cornwall.
Building Work Notice
There is currently building work underway at Carrick Lodge which is located adjacent to the Belyars Croft development to renovate the existing building and add an extension. Carrick Lodge is accessed by vehicle via the shared driveway accessed via Belyars Croft’s parking area. The remaining building work is expected to continue throughout 2024 with the fitting out and decorating following through to 2025. During this time associated activity and noises may be experienced, with workmen and vehicles also being on site. The works are projected to be finished by Spring 2025 but will be monitored and this note update accordingly.
**Gas Line Work**
Please note, the gas lines for the nearby Carrick Lodge will be put in place and the necessary works completed from Monday 14th October 2024. These works are projected to take up to two weeks and associated noised may be heard.
**Soffit Replacement November 2024**
Please note, soffit replacement will be undertaken at the Belyars Croft Apartment development starting from Monday 4th November 2024. These works are projected to take up to two weeks (weather dependant). Associated noises will be heard and scaffolding and workmen on site during this time. As the works are weather dependant, they may run over the two week projected timeframe so please feel free to contact Carbis Bay Holidays on 01736 630015 for any queries regarding this.

The Good Housekeeping Fund for Puffins is £100.
Please note some complimentary toiletries are not currently provided at Puffins for sustainability reasons to avoid unnecessary use of plastic.
Note: Bedroom one is fitted as a super-king as standard, which can be arranged as twins upon request. Bedroom two is fitted as twin beds as standard, which can be arranged as super-king upon request. All bed requests must be made no later than 7 days before your arrival day. Any request made after this date will be subject to enquiry and will incur additional housekeeping costs.
Building Work Notice
We would like to inform residents that building work is currently underway at Carrick Lodge, located adjacent to the Belyars Croft development. The project involves renovating the existing building and constructing an extension. Additionally, ongoing works are taking place on the Belyars Lane access road in front of Belyars Croft. Depending on the nature of the work, noise levels may vary—ranging from extensive noise during some activities to more subdued sounds at other times.
Access to Carrick Lodge by vehicle is via the shared driveway through Belyars Croft’s parking area. The remaining construction work is expected to continue throughout 2026. These works will primarily take place on the front (south) side of the building, which is the area furthest from Belyars Croft.
During this period, residents may experience associated activity and noise throughout the day, with workmen and vehicles present on site. Please be assured that the views from your apartment will not be affected by the ongoing works.

The owner has opted to provide one set of keys however there is a key safe that can be used to store the keys when you leave the apartment if required.
Parking for Puffins is located to the rear of the building in an un-allocated parking space. Please note, the car park is strictly monitored. On arrival you will find a Parking Permit left for you on a Bulldog Clip in the hallway, please ensure this is displayed on your vehicle dashboard AT ALL TIMES as penalties are applied for all vehicles with no Permit clearly displayed.

The annual Fire Alarm checks will be taking place at Belyars Croft on Thursday 23rd April 2026 from 12pm-12:45pm. Access to the property will be required to test the fire alarm in the entrance way. Please do contact Carbis Bay Holidays should you wish to discuss.

What a perfect apart , fully stocked with all your needs ,wonderful view,had a great time , would highly recommend. A choice of pillows would be good as they were all very big , maybe have one thicker and one thinner. Apartment up a very steep hill so not good if you don't like hills.But would definitely return at some point
