Boasting a central location in the heart of Scotland, while providing access to Aberfeldy and Pitlochry, this Scandinavian style lodge is a welcoming retreat for families looking to escape the rush of everyday life.
After parking up in the off-road parking space, unload your baggage into the entrance hall before finding the open-plan living space.
Spectacular views await you each day from the living area, with the large picture windows and double glazed doors bringing beautiful sunrises, sunsets and full moon reflections in the lochan water, offering the perfect setting to enjoy alfresco breakfasts and late night drinks on the decking.
Allow the chef of the group to get to grips in the kitchen, utilising a range of integrated appliances and preparing their ‘go-to' dishes, with the convenience of a dishwasher to assist with the washing up! As the night comes to a close, discover the bedrooms for some rest, including a family room with double and single bed, along with an en-suite bathroom, while there is also a super king-size with en-suite and patio doors to enjoy the beautiful views and a twin with en-suite shower, providing plenty of options.
When you’re ready to explore, wildlife lovers will appreciate a variety of different birds nesting and visiting the lochan throughout the year, plus there are plenty of scenic walking opportunities through the county.
Visit the ‘Outlander’ Country and see where many parts of the hit TV series was filmed, with some of the opening scenes filmed just up the road from Glengoulandie at the base of Schiehallion! The bedrooms consist of a family room with double and single bed with en-suite bathroom, a double room and a twin room with en-suite shower, along with a shower room. Outside there is decking with seating and off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.3 miles there is a shop and within 5.7 miles there is a pub, and please note that smoking is not allowed. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Ptarmigan Lodge is a cosy setting for a family retreat to Scotland. Please ensure that all children are supervised by an adult when near any water. This property does not offer or allow EV charging
