Situated in a quiet road within the heart of the historic market town, Stow-on-the-Wold, at the end of a short terrace of cottages, you will find this delightful end of terrace property, Spinners Cottage.
Built in the 18th century, the cottage is beaming with character such as exposed wooden beams, Cotswold stone walls and inviting woodburning stove.
The property has recently been completely refurbished but completed in such a way to ensure that its charm and character have been retained.
As a 300 year old property the stairs to the bedrooms are steep and may not be suitable for elderly guests. Ideal for families or groups of friends, Spinners Cottage is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle for you to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings Stow has to offer.
Offering two homely bedrooms, sleeping up to four guests and benefits from the option of booking with neighbouring Primrose Cottage. Park your car in the allocated space or in the surrounding free roadside parking and make your way into the courtyard garden and in through the front entrance.
Unload your luggage and kick your boots off in the well sized entrance hall and into the charming sitting room where you can curl up on the sofa in front of the TV or read a book at the welcoming window seat, whilst the wood burning stove warms you in the colder evenings.
Prepare your home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen and dine at the dining table. Retire for the evening upstairs in one of the two welcoming bedrooms; the master bedroom contains a king-size bed and benefits from an en-suite shower room; the perfect spot to wash down after a long day and lay your head and you can take advantage of the quaint window seat and admire the day closing to night.
The second bedroom contains a double bed and also benefits from a delightful window seat. Outside, at the front of the property, you can enjoy a glass of bubbly or al fresco dining in the seating area in the courtyard garden. Just a short walk away from your door step are many local amenities including pubs, tearooms and individual shops.

Note: This is an old property with character features, including steep stairs and low beams, which is laid out over two floors, and could therefore pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility.
Note: The property’s courtyard garden is enclosed; however, the neighbouring properties have a right of access through this garden, which could result in the gate to the road or the gate to the neighbouring property not being closed properly, consequently, young children and pets should be supervised outside at all times.
Note: An initial basket of logs is provided for the woodburning stove between October and April; further log supplies can be purchased locally.
Note: The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, this is a traditional fair for people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted; Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed.

Well-equipped, comfortable and perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Loved the outdoor garden area, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms. The stairs are steep but very manageable with well-placed handrails so don’t let description deter you from this wonderful find.
