The Gowland Farm Cottages are charming barn conversions only two miles from the coast, ideally placed between Whitby and Scarborough.
Boasting an onsite heated, indoor swimming pool as well as a scenic rural location.. Ground Floor: Living/dining room: Freeview TV, Electric Fire Kitchen: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Coffee Machine Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet First Floor: Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 2: Single (2ft 6in) Bed, Child Single Bed. LPG central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.

No smoking.. These traditional stone farm buildings have been individually and lovingly transformed into delightful holiday homes, welcoming you on a memorable stay in Yorkshire. Over Across is a characterful cottage set over multiple levels, stepping inside; two steps lead you down into the kitchen, which is well equipped and ready for you to create family meals to share.
There is a twin bedroom on the ground floor as well as the family bathroom.
Up on the first floor is the master double bedroom as well as a twin room with a small single bed and a five foot cabin bed which is suitable only for children beneath a beamed ceiling.
The living room is also on the ground floor, beneath the high beamed ceiling you have a three-seater sofa as well as two armchairs nestled around the electric stove and TV. There is also french doors leading out to a patio area. This property is ideal for families as well as friends travelling together.
The owners have endeavoured to ensure that every guest has a wonderful stay, with a beautiful on-site swimming pool, which is kept at a comfortable 28C. You can start each day with an invigorating swim, or wind down in an evening in the clear warm water.
There is also a sauna in the pool room which can be used at an additional cost.
Besides the pool room you have a BBQ area with picnic benches and elevated views over the surrounding countryside.
This destination is a haven for wildlife, where you can catch glimpses of deer as they venture from the woodland.
Also on site you have a games room, which has pool table as well as table tennis and a selection of books and board games, which are sure to keep you entertained. The cottage is a couple of miles outside of the peaceful village of Cloughton, which has two friendly local pubs, serving lovely homemade meals.
The nearest coastal spot is Hayburn Wyke, where you have a woodland walk with a waterfall cascading over the cliff top onto a secluded cove.
There is an 18th-century coaching inn here, serving hearty meals as well as tasty desserts in front of a roaring open fire.
The Cleveland Way and the Cinder Track are scenic walking trails nearby, taking in Ravenscar and Robin Hood’s Bay on the way towards the seafaring town of Whitby. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park has some delightful little villages amongst the vast stretches of heather strewn hills and valleys.
There is also the ancient Dalby Forest which has brilliant cycle and walking trails to be explored.

Friendly welcome from owners, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, there is a swimming pool on site, although we didn't use this it lookedClean, there is also a games room with free table tennis and pool table, plus jigsaw puzzles
