The Hideaway is the perfect place for a cosy escape to popular fishing village of Porthleven.
Tucked away along a lane between the old fishermans cottages, and just a few minutes walk from the harbourfront with all its shops and cafes, this studio apartment is ideal for couples or single travellers who want the benefit of having everything on the doorstep. Inside, the decor is relaxed and stylish, and the space has been cleverly designed so that you have everything you need.
The kitchen is well-equipped, having a fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, electric hob, combined microwave-oven, along with all the kitchenware, crockery and utensils for your favourite holiday breakfast! The open plan living space has a television so you can relax after a day of fresh sea air, or sit and plan your adventures for the next day. You'll find a stand up fan, and a heater perfect for all seasons. The bed, which is located in the main living space can be rearranged as either a sofa or the double bed, and folds out from its wall-mounted frame at the end of the day. It is simple to operate and can easily be puled down with one hand. The shower room is contemporary in style and has a walk-in shower enclosure, basin and WC. Pets are very welcome, although only small sized breeds are recommended due to limited space.
There is parking possible on Thomas Street and Thomas Terrace which is free of charge. Locally, Porthleven offers plenty of amenities including convenience stores, bakeries, delis, cafes and restaurants, and has the harbour front and beach on hand too. The famous restauranteur Michael Caines has a popular eatery on the harbour front and Amelies, Kota Kai and The Square are all worth dining out in. The Lizard Peninsula, just a short drive south is famed for its stunning coves and beaches, pretty villages and unique geology. A masterpiece of miniaturisation in a charming little ginnel in a lovely, and typical Cornish harbour town. Very well equipped and perfectly warm and comfortable.
