Blackthorn Cottage is set in a wonderful location, close to the beach and on the beautiful Cardigan Bay.. Ground Floor:

Come and enjoy the delights of Blackthorn Cottage, set within a holiday complex of similar style properties. Set near the coastal village of Aberporth, where you can uncover two magnificent sandy beaches, restaurants, cafés and village shop for all of your essentials. Enjoy building sandcastles on the beach, search for crabs in the rock pools or take one of the many boat trips out to sea in search of Dolphins and a host of marine wildlife, all just a mile away from your cottage.
This is the perfect destination to explore the 3 counties of West Wales, being centrally located to Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion. A ten-minute drive and you can discover the historic market town of Cardigan, here the beautifully restored castle is not to be missed with 900 years of history to uncover.
This lovingly furnished property is set at the end of a small terrace of similar cottages and has been lovingly furnished throughout to offer a great base to uncover this area with your family and friends. On the ground floor the open plan kitchen, dining and living area are bright and airy and lead out to the lawned garden. On the first floor both the king and twin bedrooms enjoy large skylights for light and views of the stars on an evening. Locally, a visit to Cenarth Falls really is not to be missed and if timed well, you can see the salmon leaping up the falls which really is a fantastic sight.
Nearby is the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran, which runs along the banks of the River Teifi made famous for coracle fishing. Day trips to New Quay, Aberaeron and especially the coastal resort of Tenby is a must, within the walled town you can wander the cobbled streets and take in the delights this town has to offer, enjoy fish and chips on the harbour wall or visit Folly Farm Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park or Heatherton World of Adventure.
