On the sunny side of the enchanting Mühlwaldertal valley lies Erwin's mountain hut at 1,500 metres above sea level. This wooden hut, close to our own farm, offers a genuine South Tyrolean holiday for 2-7 people, making it ideal for larger families.

There are 3 bedrooms, one on the ground floor and the other two on the upper floor, for a restful night's sleep in the clear mountain air. Of these, 2 bedrooms are equipped with double beds and one with a triple bed. You will be surprised and delighted at the sight of the new, modern bathroom with shower and WC. The washing machine is also worth mentioning. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for giving free rein to your cooking skills and trying out the regional South Tyrolean cuisine.
The cosy living room is the perfect place to enjoy a meal together, and the magnificent "window view" of the glowing mountain peaks completes the picture.
From the balcony, the majestic mountain panorama will cast an even greater spell over you.
While the chickens are busy laying as many eggs as possible on the nearby farm, you can taste freshly milked milk there. All under the close supervision of dogs, cats and rabbits.

The area around Erwin's mountain hut is a real natural gem. Just step outside the door and you're right in the middle of this spectacular mountain world. Hikers, mountaineers and nature lovers will all fall in love with this area. The famous Ahrntal Valley, just a stone's throw away, has delighted generations of holidaymakers. With its 80 three-thousand metre peaks, it is an absolute holiday hit in summer and winter. Lush green alpine pastures, rustling forests, bubbling springs - all wonderful to hike in.

In winter, four snow-sure ski areas with 75 kilometres of pistes and 21 state-of-the-art lifts await you. Float through fresh powder snow close to heaven - the skier's heart skips a beat. Cross-country skiers can enjoy four perfectly groomed trails, and seven attractive toboggan runs ensure great fun on the toboggan.
