A perfect base from which to explore this historic town, most attractions are within walking distance, including J M Barrie’s birthplace, the oldest sweet shop in Scotland and the Camera Obscura, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the countryside and Grampian Hills.
Also close by is an excellent equestrian centre and some great cafes and restaurants serving lunches, dinners, coffees and cake.
Glamis Castle), best known as the Queen Mothers childhood home, is well worth a visit and the cities of Perth and Dundee are an easy drive away.
Superb golf courses, walking, riding and fishing can all be enjoyed in the immediate locality and there are plenty of good walks in the spectacular Angus Glens just beyond the town.

Lovely little cottage, parking for 1 car. Beds reasonable but not totally comfortable Good facilities, kitchen, shower room, heating etc.

A quirky, cosy place. Pretty quiet considering only 2 minutes to shop, takeaway and lovely pub (Three Bellies Brae).Well-equipped kitchen area (amazing what was included in a small space.The main bedroom was spacious and comfortable.Friendly neighbours and a nice town.
